Reflecting on the STRIVE Journey: Three Years of Creation

It’s September 2025, and a few months have already passed since the launch of the STRIVE Cards Methodology Book. With a bit of distance now, I can finally pause to reflect on the process that brought both the book and the STRIVE Cards to life - a journey that has spanned almost three years.

When I look back, I see a path full of iterations, experiments, and deep reflection. Developing the STRIVE Cards was not a linear process; it required countless rounds of testing, refining, and listening to both the people who engaged with the cards and to my own intuition. There were moments of sitting with ideas, reshaping them, testing materials, experimenting with packaging, and trying out different variations of formats and materials - from card sizes and finishes to box designs and textures - before finally finding the right balance that carried the essence of STRIVE. Every adjustment was a way of ensuring that each detail resonated with the purpose of STRIVE: to support growth, self-discovery, and empowerment.

The book emerged alongside the cards, almost like a companion that had to grow in its own rhythm. It took time, patience, and the willingness to allow ideas to unfold at their own pace. Writing this book was not only about creating a methodology but about weaving together real-life needs, observed challenges, and possibilities for transformation. Giving it space and time was essential - it allowed the work to mature and carry the depth it needed to truly serve others.

One of the most meaningful parts of this journey has been the support I received. Earlier this year, Anthony Myers joined as the editor, and his presence has been a profound gift. Anthony’s guidance, insights, and care touched not only the book but also the STRIVE Cards. His ability to see both the vision and the details made this work stronger, clearer, and more alive.

Now, as I hold both the STRIVE Cards and the Methodology Book in my hands, I feel immense gratitude. What started as an idea slowly grew into a tangible tool for reflection, growth, and transformation. This journey has shown me the importance of patience, persistence, and trust in the creative process. And above all, it has shown me the power of community, collaboration, and shared belief in the value of growth.

Thank you to everyone who has walked even a small part of this journey with me. And thank you, especially, to Anthony for being such a steady guide and kind collaborator. My only hope is that this tool can be used in so many different contexts and that it will inspire people to grow and strive further.
