Holding space

My friend made a movie.

Her movie is about freedom. It’s about owning your power, about connection, inhabiting your space and creativity. I am absolutely in awe of my friend. And it’s nothing new, to be honest. And that’s why I feel it’s okay to brag about her and about her talents, her resilience, her questioning everything and bravery to embrace it with all the things that are perfect and also with flaws.

I was thinking a lot about Colina. About our friendship.

We travelled a bit together. We also left spaces together. We shared journeys outside Europe and journeys inside ourselves. I am so proud of your skills and your capacity to hold space. Still, most of all I am proud of your vulnerability and grace to go all the way into it which empowers so many beautiful humans and explodes in vivid colours through the end of the movie that you made. I am also super excited about what is there in the future. What is there that spores out of moments, situations and inspiration in the future?
